Cyclotron centre in Nagpur to bolster cancer detection

The state government has announced plans to establish a cyclotron center in Nagpur for early cancer detection and treatment, and various industrial applications. The facility, under development at VNIT, will be comparable to Kolkata's high-powered cyclotron. It will cater to regions like Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha, enhancing medical and research capabilities.
