'Lodged a strong protest': India slams Turkey's Erdogan for 'objectionable' comments on Kashmir
Friday, 21 February 2025 () The Indian government has strongly condemned Turkish President Erdogan's remarks about Kashmir and lodged a protest with the Turkish ambassador. India reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir are integral parts of its territory and criticized Pakistan's use of cross-border terrorism as the main threat to the region.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has fiercely condemned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to seize control of Gaza and remove its Palestinian population. Speaking in Istanbul, Erdogan declared, “No one has the power to remove the people of Gaza from their eternal homeland,” reaffirming that Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem belong to the Palestinians.
Trump’s plan, announced alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has sparked global outrage, particularly in the Arab and Muslim world. While Netanyahu praised the proposal as “the first good idea” for Gaza’s future, Erdogan dismissed it as “worthless” and accused Zionist leadership of pushing an agenda that holds “nothing worth discussing.”
