'Was invited to speak at IIT Roorkee': Sam Pitroda after Centre dismissed hacking claims
Friday, 28 February 2025 Sam Pitroda, chief of Indian Overseas Congress, revealed that a hacker streamed explicit content during his virtual speech at IIT-Roorkee. This occurred shortly after his speech at the Cognizant event via Zoom. The Ministry of Education clarified that Pitroda was never invited to any event at IIT-Ranchi, stressing the importance of cybersecurity in academic settings.
India strongly criticized Pakistan at the UNHRC, calling it a "failed state" surviving on foreign aid and instability. India's envoy, Kshitij Tyagi, dismissed Pakistan's allegations on Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting its development and stability. He accused Pakistan of harboring terrorists and persecuting minorities while misusing global platforms for anti-India rhetoric.
