Plans afloat to launch river cruise on Yamuna in Delhi

Delhi Tourism has launched an initiative to introduce electric ferry boats on the River Yamuna to promote it as a tourist attraction. A private agency will operate the cruise for 270 days a year. Multiple agencies are working on projects to rejuvenate the river, and the initiative is expected to start by late 2025 or early 2026.
