‘Pushpa’ joins India’s only avian squad trained to hunt drones

The Intelligence and Security Wing of Telangana police have introduced the Garuda Squad, a unique avian squad trained to hunt down drones. The squad, consisting of eagles and kites, provides aerial surveillance for VIPs without using radio frequency jammers. This method is seen as a cost-effective and reliable alternative to conventional anti-drone tactics.
