In law violation, baby formula co sponsors meet of paediatricians
Tuesday, 4 March 2025 () Abbott Nutrition is sponsoring a national paediatrics summit in Dehradun, despite laws prohibiting baby food manufacturers from funding medical conferences. The Indian Academy of Paediatrics had previously taken funding from Abbott, claiming it was from a different division. The health ministry flagged this as a violation of the Infant Milk Substitutes Act.
