Karnataka govt directs forest dept to reclaim 444 acres of land from Indian Air Force

Karnataka forest minister Eshwar Khandre has ordered the reclamation of 444.12 acres of forest land from the Indian Air Force at Peenya Plantation. The IAF had continued construction without required forest clearance, despite prior cancellation of their allocation. Forest officials halted the illegal work and instructed the IAF to obtain proper clearance.
