Maharashtra Budget 2025: Rs 229 crore allocated for passenger jetty at Radio Club in Mumbai

The Maharashtra government has dedicated Rs 229 crore for a passenger jetty near Mumbai's Gateway of India. Despite initial opposition from Colaba residents, the project is progressing at Radio Club to enhance passenger transportation. Incentives will be provided for safe travel boats, with ongoing construction of jetties at several locations including Raigad, Sindhudurg, Dombivli, and Mira-Bhayander.
