Jharkhand eases test for aspiring cops 6 months after 15 deaths during long run

Jharkhand cabinet has approved new recruitment rules for police, excise, home guard, and prison departments, introducing a uniform physical endurance test for constable posts. Male candidates must complete a 1.6 km run in six minutes, while female candidates must finish it in ten minutes, significantly reducing the previous strenuous requirements.
