Kochi cop ‘fries’ bullets in pan, triggers blast in police camp

A departmental inquiry was initiated after two blank ammunitions exploded when a sub-inspector at Kochi's city police camp tried warming them in a frying pan. The incident, which occurred in the kitchen near LPG cylinders, was deemed a lapse in judgment. Further action is pending the inquiry report.
