Couple held for murdering 4-year-old girl they ‘purchased’ for Rs 5,000 in Maharashtra’s Sambhajinagar

A couple from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was arrested for allegedly murdering a four-year-old girl they had adopted illegally. The child died from infections caused by injuries sustained in an assault. The couple paid Rs 5,000 to the biological parents for the adoption, which is a violation of the law.
