2 Class IV girls in hospital after sit-up punishment by teacher at Maharashtra school
Sunday, 6 April 2025 () In a government residential school in Palghar, two class IV girls were hospitalized for leg swelling and severe body aches after their teacher made them do sit-ups as punishment for incomplete homework. Officials from the Integrated Tribal Development Project have begun an inquiry into the incident. The students' parents are demanding accountability and punishment for the teacher.
