IISc’s FSID, IIT Delhi’s FITT & C-DAC partner to advance innovation for 5G & beyond

A collaboration aims to develop open-source technology for mobile networks. The partnership includes IISc, IIT Delhi, and C-DAC. It focuses on 5G, 5G Advanced, and 6G networks. The goal is to create a production-quality codebase. The initiative has backing from the electronics and IT ministry. The consortium released IOS-MCN Agartala v0.1.0. Testing showed promising data rates and low latency.
