In Lucknow, a Class 9 student's birthday treat, funded by stolen money, turned into a month-long extortion nightmare. Classmates coerced him into stealing Rs 12.5 lakh from his home. The stolen money was used to buy luxury items. Police investigation led to the arrest of seven juveniles, who are now in custody.
