'Squatted on track': Over 5,000 people obstruct train movement in West Bengal over 'non-Railway' cause

Train services in West Bengal's Azimganj-New Farakka section were disrupted on April 11, 2025, as approximately 5,000 people blocked the railway track between Dhulianganga and Nimtita stations. The obstruction, stemming from a non-railway cause, halted the Kamakhya-Puri Express and delayed the Barharwa Azimganj Passenger train.
