Death row inmate who murdered father in human sacrifice held in Delhi after 8 months on the run

Jitender Singh, a 43-year-old man sentenced to death for the 2008 human sacrifice murder of his father, was rearrested by Delhi Police after absconding for eight months. Singh had been granted furlough in July 2024 but failed to return to jail.
