2 retired Telangana teachers duped of over Rs 1 crore in digital arrest scam

In separate incidents, two retired teachers from Telangana were swindled out of a combined total of over a crore rupees through digital extortion. Posing as officials, fraudsters coerced a Khammam teacher into paying ₹26.5 lakh with false accusations. Similarly, a retired teacher from Old Alwal lost ₹80.8 lakh after being manipulated with claims of Aadhaar misuse in a trafficking case.
