1 in 4 young women have iron deficiency

Iron deficiency is a common problem, especially among girls and young women. A study found that nearly 40% of females aged 12 to 21 were deficient in iron. Symptoms include fatigue, brain fog, and pale skin. Increasing intake of iron-rich foods like leafy greens, meat, and dried fruit can help.
