I can never forget what I saw in Bangladesh!

IndiaTimes Thursday, 8 August 2024 ()
Chittagong port is huge and the city is bustling. Dhaka looked like Bandra Kurla Complex, the are we lived in was Banani, a tony upscale part of the city. Traffic was chaotic, heat was oppressive but it felt nice when did Jamdani saree shopping and ate Hilsa, the queen of Padma river. My family left for Kolkata and I settled back in Chittagong, my teaching begun. Since it is an university for women my students were all girls and oh, boy they came from societies which are oppressive and some from warzone like Afghanistan or Sri Lanka.
