Monkeypox virus detected Pakistan: 3 cases identified so far

Three individuals arriving from the UAE were diagnosed with monkeypox in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and quarantined. The World Health Organization has labeled the outbreak a public health emergency. Monkeypox, caused by the monkeypox virus, shows smallpox-like symptoms. Transmission occurs through close contact, and recent cases outside Africa highlight its global threat.
