Countries with highest percentage of older population

The global population is aging rapidly, with the number of people aged 65 and over expected to double by 2050. Monaco currently has the highest percentage of older adults at 36%, followed by Japan at 30%. Several European countries, including Italy, Finland, Portugal, Greece, Croatia, and Germany, also have significant elderly populations exceeding 20%.
