Pope develops "initial, slight insufficiency" in kidneys

Pope Francis has demonstrated an initial, mild insufficiency in kidney function, as per a Vatican update. He remains alert and is receiving high-flow oxygen therapy. Since last evening, there have been no further respiratory crises, and his hemoglobin levels have risen following a transfusion. The condition is critical but stable with continuous monitoring.
