Can peanuts treat peanut allergy in adults?

A groundbreaking trial, the Grown Up Peanut Immunotherapy (GUPI) study, has shown promising results in desensitizing adults with peanut allergies. Researchers at Kingβs College London found that two-thirds of participants could consume the equivalent of five peanuts without reaction after undergoing oral immunotherapy.
