Appeal: Officer hit by vehicle, Ovenden

Police in Calderdale are appealing for witnesses after an on-duty police officer was injured by a vehicle on Vegal Crescent, Ovenden.
Shortly before 12pm on Thursday, 7 November, a suspicious vehicle travelling down Ovenden Way in the direction of Lee Mount was sighted by officers.
The officers followed the vehicle, a black Mercedes A180 onto Vegal Crescent, where it came to a stop. The officer exited the police vehicle and approached the Mercedes on foot to speak with the driver.
