Saturday, 27 January 2024 Spending more time on social media may increase inflammation, harming mental health, according to a study published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research. The study, which used a screen-time app to objectively measure social media use, found that higher social media use was associated with increased inflammation both immediately and five weeks later.
