SPECULOOS-3b: A new frontier in the search for life on exoplanets

A team from SPECULOOS discovered SPECULOOS-3b, an Earth-size planet orbiting an ultracool red dwarf star, 55 light-years away from Earth, using an observatory in the Atacama Desert of Chile.
