Dept of space gets Rs 13.4k crore, up from Rs 11.7k crore; NSIL another Rs 1k crore

The Department of Space (DoS) has received a significant boost in funding, with Rs 13,416.2 crore allocated for 2025-26, supporting ISRO projects and space technology advancements. Commercialisation is bolstered with investments in NewSpace India Limited, while customs duties on satellite and launch vehicle components have been reduced to zero, encouraging further industry growth and public-private collaborations.
