Rishi Sunak unveils tax break for pensioners

Rishi Sunak has unveiled a 2.4 billion pound tax break to help secure the support of pensioners in the forthcoming General Election. During a visit to a bowls club in Market Bosworth, Leicestershire, the Prime Minister promised to increase the income tax personal allowance for pensioners, giving them a tax cut worth around £100. Reform UK leader Nigel Farage unveils a blown-up poster of the ‘i’ newspaper front page from May 10, 2016, with the headline "Boris blames EU for war in Ukraine".
