Cummins & Lyon put Australia on top against Pakistan
Wednesday, 27 December 2023 Australia captain Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon reduce Pakistan to 194-6, trailing the hosts by 124 runs after day two of the second Test.
Pat Cummins’ Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns with Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals on Friday in Qualifier 2. The former has been thrashed by Kolkata Knight Riders in Qualifier 1 while the latter had a scratchy win against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Eliminator SRH time and again has lacked the firepower or depth in batting order to make scores when Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have failed. While RR has found ways to lose a game in the second half of the season. Their losing streak began against Sunrisers when they lost a winnable game by one run. The winner of the game will take on KKR in the Indian Premier League 2024 final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.
