LS Polls 2024: Arvinder Singh Lovely joins BJP after resigning as Delhi Cong president | Oneindia

Former Congress leader Amrinder Singh Lovely joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi on May 4. The development comes days after he resigned from the post of Delhi president of the grand old party. Lovely resigned as the party's Delhi unit chief, citing the alliance with the AAP as one of the reasons. He said the Delhi Congress unit was against the alliance with the AAP but the party high command went ahead with it. After joining BJP, Arvinder Singh Lovely says, "I had resigned from the post of Delhi Congress President and after that, I met all my colleagues and thousands of Congress workers. All those people said that you should not sit at home and should continue fighting for the people of Delhi and the country." #LSPolls2024 #ArvinderSinghLovely #BJP #Congress #AAP #IndiaAlliance #DelhiPolitics #PoliticalShift #ElectionNews #PoliticalTransition ~PR.152~GR.121~HT.96~
