Rishi Sunak has unveiled a 2.4 billion pound tax break to help secure the support of pensioners in the forthcoming General Election. During a visit to a bowls club in Market Bosworth, Leicestershire, the Prime Minister promised to increase the income tax personal allowance for pensioners, giving them a tax cut worth around £100. Mother of missing teenager says search is a ‘nightmare’

The mother of a British teenager missing in Tenerife has made an emotional plea for help to find him. Jay Slater, 19, from Lancashire, was last heard from on Monday morning when he told a friend he planned to walk back to his accommodation after missing a bus; a journey expected to take around 11 hours on foot.
