A man who assaulted an emergency worker during the riots in Blackpool has been sentenced to two years and six months in prison. Roger Haywood, 41, pleaded guilty to the charge. Man and woman dead after house fire in Blackpool

A man and a woman in their twenties have died and their two children are in hospital after a house fire in Blackpool.
