Britain to make late call on Draper's Davis Cup involvement
Tuesday, 10 September 2024 Captain Leon Smith says he is yet to make a decision on whether US Open semi-finalist Jack Draper will play in Britain's Davis Cup tie against Finland.
The assistant headteacher at the Jack Draper's childhood school says his tennis talents were visible at from eight-years-old. Alex Gainer from Parkside School in Cobham adds that from "minute one" Draper was "so determined" and "wanted to win every point". His comments come after Draper claimed the biggest title of his career so far, defeating Denmark's Holger Rune in the Indian Wells final. Report by Brooksl.
