'A mental calendar' - Draper raises scheduling fears
Friday, 13 September 2024 British number one Jack Draper believes it will be "very hard" for the next generation of tennis players to "achieve longevity" because of a packed calendar.
The assistant headteacher at the Jack Draper's childhood school says his tennis talents were visible at from eight-years-old. Alex Gainer from Parkside School in Cobham adds that from "minute one" Draper was "so determined" and "wanted to win every point". His comments come after Draper claimed the biggest title of his career so far, defeating Denmark's Holger Rune in the Indian Wells final. Report by Brooksl.
