Murphy beats Ding in decider to reach quarter-finals
Wednesday, 27 November 2024 Shaun Murphy beats three-time winner Ding Junhui 6-5 in a final-frame decider to move into the quarter-finals of the UK Championship in York.
The government has announced £415 million to upgrade struggling rail services between Manchester and Yorkshire. It comes after delays to the electrification of the TransPennine route upgrade between Manchester and York following the dropping of the Phase 2 HS2 extension.
