France manager Deschamps to step down after 2026 World Cup
Wednesday, 8 January 2025 France's World Cup-winning manager Didier Deschamps says he will step down after the 2026 tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The identity of the 48 teams taking part at the 2026 FIFA World Cup are beginning to emerge, with four teams already qualifying for next yearβs tournament.

Thomas Tuchel has defended criticism of him spending time in Germany after his appointment as England boss, saying he was there to see his children.
