Monday, 17 February 2025 () The 2018 Tour de France winner and double Olympic track cycling champion Geraint Thomas speaks to BBC Breakfast's Mike Bushell about his plans to retire at the end of this season.
Geraint Thomas has announced he will retire from cycling at the end of the season. The 38-year-old is a former Olympic champion and became the first Welshman to win the Tour de France in 2018. Thomas says he would love to help his Ineos Grenadier teammates and “go for a stage myself” at this summer’s Tour. Report by Jonesia.
