Saturday, 12 August 2023 At least one person has died and dozens of others have been rescued after a migrant boat crossing the English Channel capsized.
At least about six people have died after a boat carrying migrants sank in the English Channel. The boat was crossing France's channel to reach Britain. While French authorities have said that at least about 60 migrants have now been rescued the search for the missing passengers is still on.
