Airlines rush to restore service after UK air-system outage

Airlines in the UK are working to restore normal flight operations and repatriate stranded passengers following a major air-traffic outage. British Airways and EasyJet are advising passengers to check the status of their flights, offering free changes and refunds for affected travelers. London Heathrow experienced 78 delayed flights and 32 cancellations on Tuesday, while Gatwick suffered 23 cancellations.
