India and Russia are making efforts to attract tourists back to their countries after being hit by the pandemic. Russia has introduced e-visas and is working on legislation for e-payment solutions to facilitate currency exchange. India has also introduced e-visas for Russian tourists and is engaging with Russian social media influencers to promote tourism. Despite challenges, the flow of Indian tourists to Moscow has already surpassed 2021 figures. Both countries are working on facilitating tie-ups and addressing currency conversion issues.
