Morocco has been criticized for not accepting international aid following the devastating earthquake that struck the country on September 8. While Morocco accepted search-and-rescue teams from Spain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and the UK, it did not take up offers of assistance from the United States, France, and other countries.
