North Korea slams UN nuclear agency as US mouthpiece

IndiaTimes Monday, 2 October 2023
North Korea has criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for joining a US-led pressure campaign and passing a resolution calling for North Korea to curb its nuclear programs. Pyongyang referred to the IAEA as a "paid trumpeter" for the US and accused the agency of spreading false stories about an imminent nuclear test. North Korea's status as a nuclear weapons state is described as "irreversible." The IAEA has not had access to North Korea since 2009.
