At UN, Palestinians call for halt to Israeli offensive, world powers mull options

The Palestinian United Nations envoy has called on UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to do more to stop what he describes as a "crime against humanity" by Israel. Israel has warned nearly half of the population of the Gaza Strip to relocate as it plans an assault. The envoy stated that the current actions taken are not sufficient and urged for more to be done to stop the violence.
