France says it's in talks with Egypt on setting up field hospital for Gaza wounded
Monday, 6 November 2023 France is in discussions with Egypt to establish a military medical facility in order to provide surgical treatment for those injured in the Gaza Strip. The French government is also hosting an international conference to coordinate humanitarian efforts for Gaza. While Israel continues its airstrikes on Hamas targets, France plans to send a second helicopter carrier equipped with advanced medical facilities to the region. Additionally, diplomats are considering the potential of using maritime corridors to deliver aid and evacuate the wounded in Gaza.
