'While Israel is refraining from harming civilians, Hamas is using them as human shields': Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu
Saturday, 11 November 2023 Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has responded to French president Emmanuel Macron's call for Israel to stop attacking civilians in Gaza, stating that Hamas is responsible for the deaths. Netanyahu claimed that Israel is doing everything possible to avoid harming Gazan civilians, while Hamas is preventing them from leaving for safe areas and using them as human shields. He warned that if Hamas is not condemned, their crimes in Gaza will eventually spread to other nations. The IDF also reported eliminating approximately 150 terrorists and gaining control over Hamas strongholds in northern Gaza.
