Iran Prez to travel to Saudi to attend OIC Summit on Gaza crisis
Saturday, 11 November 2023 Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi will attend the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit in Saudi Arabia, where the Palestine and Gaza crisis will be discussed. The Iranian foreign ministry has sent a team of experts to assess a document on the Gaza crisis that will be released at the summit. Raisi and Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan have called for an immediate halt to the Israeli bombardment of Gaza. Iran's Foreign Minister also wrote letters to BRICS countries urging them to intervene and halt the attacks in Gaza.
