Israel and Hamas to start four-day truce on Friday -Qatar mediators

Israel and Hamas will begin a four-day truce, with the release of 13 Israeli women and child hostages. The truce, set to start at 7 a.m. local time, will involve a comprehensive ceasefire in north and south Gaza. Additional aid will flow into Gaza and more hostages will be freed over the four days. Fighting continued leading up to the truce, with a hospital in Gaza City among the targets bombed. Both sides have signaled that the truce will be temporary before fighting resumes.
