Man kills tourist near Eiffel Tower, injures 2; ‘terror’ investigation on

A 23-year-old GermanFilipino tourist died near the Eiffel Tower in Paris after an attack by a man armed with a knife and a hammer. The attacker, identified as Armand Rajabpour-Miyandoab, had shouted 'Allahu akbar' and expressed anger over Muslim deaths in Afghanistan and Palestine. The incident, described as a terrorist attack by President Emmanuel Macron, also injured a 66-year-old British citizen and a 60-year-old French national on Quai de Grenelle. The suspect, who had previous convictions and psychiatric disorders, was quickly arrested by the police.
