Now, as Prime Minister, he has adopted the Rwanda plan to close a polling deficit. However, the plan has faced challenges, with the UK courts ruling it unlawful and senior ministers leaving the Cabinet. Sunak is now trying to quell rebellions from his party as he faces a vote on implementing the policy.
