Colorado court bars Trump from presidential primary, deepening political divide in US

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 20 December 2023
The Democrat-leaning Colorado Supreme Court has barred Donald Trump from running in the state's presidential primary due to his alleged role in the January 6 insurrection. Trump's campaign plans to appeal to the conservative-leaning US Supreme Court. The outcome of this case, as well as others in Democrat-leaning states, could potentially disrupt Trump's bid for a second term and lead to chaos in the elections. Texas' Republican governor has even threatened to retaliate by disenfranchising Biden.
